The Port Hercule Fireworks: Access Strategy
The New Year's Eve fireworks are launched from Port Hercule at midnight, with optimal viewing from the port-facing terraces, the upper casino gardens, and the Larvotto seafront. The access roads to all three primary viewing areas are restricted to residents and hotel guests from approximately 22:00, with the Quai Albert I approach entirely closed from 23:00.
FFGR plans the evening access strategy for each client individually based on their viewing location and post-fireworks programme. Vehicles are pre-positioned before the 22:00 restriction window; clients are delivered to their venue at the correct time, and the vehicle moves to a confirmed holding area — typically the Fontvieille zone — for post-fireworks collection.

For clients who prefer a broader Riviera New Year's experience, FFGR operates transfers to Saint-Tropez, Cannes, and Nice. The traditional options — the fireworks at the Vieux Port of Nice, the gala circuit along the Croisette in Cannes, and the private villa celebrations above Saint-Tropez — all require departure from Monaco between 19:00 and 20:00 to reach the venue before road restrictions.
